Up till 2002 we would start the season by holding a local mall show. We also would kick off our fund raising by raffling off an ARF complete with radio engine and flight instructions. Unfortunately the British Columbia Government no longer permits Model airplane clubs to hold raffles leaving many clubs searching for new ways to fund their day to day operations while trying to keep yearly dues to a minimum.
